Oklahoma High School Fishing is a grass roots bass fishing trail that promotes the love of the outdoors.
The objective of OKHSF is to create productive adults through competitive bass fishing events. Our staff create honorable qualities such as integrity, perseverance, self discipline, education, leadership and impeccable morals.
OKHSF trail is aimed at getting students off the
couch by promoting the formation of fishing clubs,
outdoor activities and education.

Two divisions await:
- Juniors (no age limit to 8th grade) and H.S. (9th-12th grade). Special rules let 7th or 8th graders fish in the H.S. division with a qualified angler. No school affiliation needed but recommended. Partnerships are open to anglers from different schools. private or home school enthusiasts are welcome!
Two anglers that have not graduated H.S. for the year
- of the trail , An adult boat captain who operates the boat and is responsible for the teams safety. A Boat that must be at least 16ft in length and A Student Angler Federation membership.

SAF National Finals
- AOY is awarded at the OKHSF Championships and automatically qualifies for the SAF National Championship.
- Based on the number of competitors, OKHSF is able to award. SAF National Championship berth to High School competitors.
- Based on the number of competitors, we also award berths to the SAF Junior World Championship.
- In 2023 OKHSF Qualified 17 to the SAF National Championship and 3 to the SAF Junior world finals.
Competition and Entry Fees
Entry fees are $55.00 per boat
per event 80% payback.
Plaques for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Big Bass.
Big Bass cash payout is a sponsored payout.
Bubba fish cash award for the biggest non game fish brought
to the scales. (Paddle fish are excluded)
Free GIVEAWAYS at our events, as sponsors provide them.
